About us
C5 Consultancy Ltd was established in 2006, and has already produced books for many police forces, councils, community safety partnerships, LCJBs and housing associations. We provide a professional and personal service and the success of our projects is demonstrated by the number of reorders we have received.
The ultimate outcome of all our work would be to empower communities and help them become better informed and more integrated in society, with particular help and support, through our publications, to victims of crime.
Extensive research amongst communities has gone into the style of the design and the format of our publications. A number of evaluations, including one by Portsmouth University for some of our projects have clearly proved the effectiveness of our user-friendly designs. We have even been commissioned to produce books for police forces on subjects particular to their special local needs.
Our mission is helping communities stay safe
- By appropriately communicating with Black and Minority Ethnic (BMEA) communities on behalf of the agencies
- By helping the police and councils remodel their services to suit the needs of BME Communities
- By helping agencies with their community engagement and consultation strategy
- And by working with agencies as a link between them and BMEA communities
About Hamid Samiy
Hamid Samiy began the company with passion and experience in BME communities engagement, publishing, marketing, the Criminal Justice System, community Development and community consultations. Hamid’s work has been acknowledged by many local media outlets.
Two years prior to C5 Consultancy, Hamid ran a project called Race for Justice.
The Project was commissioned by Hampshire and the Isle of Wight Criminal Justice Board, to increase the confidence of the black and minority ethnic communities in the Criminal Justice System. The many initiatives carried out during this short period, received national acclaim, and earned Hamid coverage in many national press including, CJS Now.
The project was also evaluated by Portsmouth University, which found that its initiatives has significantly increased awareness and confidence in the Criminal Justice System.
Race for Justice Project was recognised in The Government’s Strategy to increase race equality and community cohesion, as an example of a successful project.
